time for a belly rub

time for a belly rub

You guys might’ve noticed that I’m doing a lot more post-processing these days. That’s because I’ve been checking out Chris Orwig’s excellent videos and Scott Kelby’s excellent book. I apologize to any as-shot purists out there, hope you’ll bear with me while I’m learning and applying my newly learned tricks :)

As a side note, Chris Orwig’s videos are truly inspirational, not only from a technical perspective, but because the guy is so obviously in love with life and is absolutely brimming with enthusiasm. His personality shines through in his photos as well. Scott Kelby is a much more cynical and off beat guy, but I thoroughly enjoy his sense of humor, which is rare to find in nerdy instructional guide books. These guys rock!

Edit Feb 18 2008 :

Not enough new stuff to warrant a new post, but two updates:

1) Wow! Chris Orwig himself visited my humble blog :) Check out the comments to this post!

2)  I removed all the old pre-Flickr posts, just wasn’t happy enough with them. Sorry if you really really really liked something back there. If you let me know, I will dig up the picture from the grave and post it on Flickr.
